This Mayfair trilby is made of 100% Wool. The brim measures 6.5cm wide and has a 3.8cm grosgrain ribbon band and bow as a stylish detail. The interior is lined with the an elegant, Denton Hats satin lining.

Having bought two different types of hat from you previously in the 57cm size, and both fitting perfectly, I naturally thought the same size in the Mayfair would also be a perfect fit. Imagine my disappointment when I tried it on and it sat on the crown and just wobbled. This style has shorter rim to crown height, so I thought in a smaller size, the rim would sit on my head before the crown would, I was right, the 55cm being a smaller hat, sits on the rim just before the crown so sizing isn't that straightforward but I do now have another style of hat to wear.

Great service and quality hat – would definitely buy again
Had a very good experience with Hat Outlet. The team worked with me to sort out the help I needed, and even though things got a little bit tricky at times, they handled everything to a good standard. The quality of the hat itself is actually really solid — it looks great, feels good, and has that classic, stylish finish I was after.
If they bring out more styles in the future — like bowler hats or other variations of the Theodora and Trilby — I’ll definitely be back. And if I ever need to replace the one I’ve already bought, I’ll be buying the replacement from them without hesitation.
